Sponsor Portal Tour

A deep tour of the sponsor dashboard. Connections, Speakers, Library, Campaigns, Leads, Analytics, Activity log, and Settings.

What the portal is for

The sponsor portal is your home base. You manage relationships with speakers, build a library of resources for them to share, run campaigns, and work the leads those campaigns produce. Every page in the sidebar exists to support one of those four jobs.

The home dashboard

Sign in and you land on Overview. The page shows three KPI cards at the top, each one a clickable shortcut into the matching section.

  • Active speakers counts speakers in your network. If your plan caps connections, you see usage against the limit and a warning when you hit it.
  • Total leads counts consented subscribers who engaged with your content.
  • Total clicks counts audience clicks on your resource blocks.

Below the KPI row you see Quick Links and the Content Performance section. Content Performance lists every resource block you have placed on a speaker fanflet with impressions, clicks, engagement rate, and lead count per row. Studio plans get a cross-speaker rollup so you compare how the same resource lands across different audiences.

When connection requests are waiting, an amber banner appears above the KPIs with a Review requests button.

The setup checklist

New accounts see a Setup checklist card on the dashboard. It tracks four steps:

  • Add your company logo
  • Upload a resource to your library
  • Connect with a speaker
  • Create a campaign (Studio only)

Tap the X in the corner to dismiss it. If you dismiss too early, a Resume setup card replaces it so you get back the full checklist with one click. The card hides itself once every step is done.

The sidebar tour

The sidebar groups items into four sections. Here is what each item does and where to read more.

Engage

  • Overview is the home dashboard described above.
  • Analytics opens multi-tab reporting on impressions, clicks, conversion, devices, referrers, and geography. See Sponsor analytics.
  • Leads is the inbox of every audience interaction with your content. See Sponsor lead generation.

Content

  • Resource Library holds every link, file, video, and form you want speakers to share. See Sponsor resource library.
  • Campaigns groups resources into a named effort with a goal and a tag for the leads it produces. See Sponsor lead generation.

Network

  • My Speakers lists seat-licensed speakers you sponsor directly. See Speaker seat licensing.
  • Connections shows connection requests from speakers and the active relationships already accepted. See Tracked sponsors.

Account

  • Integrations connects HubSpot and Zapier on Studio. See HubSpot integration and Zapier integration.
  • Billing shows your plan, invoices, and the upgrade path from Connect to Studio.
  • Activity Log records every action taken on your account (Studio). See Sponsor team management.
  • Settings controls company profile, communications, team, and account preferences.

Connections vs Speakers

The two Network items look similar but solve different problems.

  • Connections is the inbound flow. A speaker requests permission to feature your resources. You accept or decline. Once accepted, the speaker stays in your connections list and gains access to your library. Read more in Tracked sponsors.
  • My Speakers is the outbound flow. You buy a seat and assign it to a speaker you want to sponsor directly. The seat covers their plan and links them to your library automatically. Read more in Speaker seat licensing.

Both surfaces feed the same KPIs

Whether a speaker reached you through a connection request or a seat, the dashboard counts them in Active speakers and the leads they produce roll into Total leads.

Library

The library is the catalog of resources you offer to speakers. Add a link, upload a PDF, embed a video, or build a lead form. Tag it, write a short description, and set it visible. Connected speakers see your library inside their fanflet editor and pull items into their resource pages with a click.

Campaigns

A campaign scopes a set of resources behind a name, a goal, and a date range. Every lead generated by a resource inside the campaign carries the campaign tag, so your CRM and reports attribute results to the right initiative. Use campaigns when you run a product launch, a webinar push, or a quarterly theme across many speakers.

Campaigns are a Studio feature. Read more in Sponsor lead generation.

Leads

Leads is the inbox of every audience member who engaged with a sponsor-attributed resource. Each row records the contact, the speaker, the fanflet, the resource, the campaign tag, and the consent state. Filter by speaker or campaign, export to CSV, or push to your CRM through Integrations.

Analytics

The Analytics page is multi-tab. Across the top you get four KPIs: Unique Views, Resource Clicks, Conversion Rate, New Leads. Below them you switch between time series, fanflet performance, resource type breakdown, conversion funnel, device split, referrer split, and geography. Filter the entire page by date range, speaker, or campaign. Studio plans share read-only analytics reports with external stakeholders via a tokenized link.

Scheduled analytics digests

Fanflet can email you a summary of your sponsor analytics on a schedule, so you do not have to open the dashboard to see how your program is doing. You set this up in Settings, in the Analytics digests card.

Each digest you add has two settings:

  • Scope: what the digest covers. Choose All activity (everything across your account), a single campaign, or a single speaker you are connected to.
  • Frequency: Weekly or Monthly.

Weekly digests go out every Monday morning. Monthly digests go out on the first of each month. Each email includes your headline numbers for the period, a comparison against the period before it, and a short AI-written insight that points out what changed.

You can add more than one digest. For example, a weekly all-activity summary plus a monthly digest for one priority campaign. The card shows an estimate of how many emails that adds up to per month.

To stop a digest, remove it from the same card. Each digest goes to the email address of the team member who created it, so everyone on your team can set up their own.

Plan availability

Scheduled digests are available on every sponsor plan. You can scope a digest to any campaign or to any speaker in your active connections.

Integrations

Integrations push leads and engagement events from Fanflet to your existing stack. Two options ship today.

1

HubSpot

Native OAuth connection. Every new lead becomes a HubSpot contact with the campaign tag mapped to a custom property. Studio only. See HubSpot integration.

2

Zapier

Webhook-driven. Send leads, resource clicks, and connection events to any Zapier app. Studio only. See Zapier integration.

Activity log

The activity log records every action your team takes on the account: invites, role changes, library edits, connection decisions, campaign updates, billing events. Each row shows the actor, the action, the target, and the timestamp. Studio plans get 12-month retention and CSV export.

Use it to audit who did what when you have multiple admins. Read more in Sponsor team management.

Settings

Settings is split into four tabs.

  • Company Profile holds the public-facing fields: company name, URL, description, logo, website, contact email, industry, and timezone. Speakers see this when they review your connection request.
  • Communications sets digest frequency for new leads and engagement summaries, plus scope (account-wide, per speaker, or per campaign).
  • Team invites teammates, assigns roles, and manages seat usage on the account.
  • Account covers password, two-factor, MCP server URL for AI tools, and account close.

URL changes are rate-limited

Once you set your URL, you wait before changing it again. Pick a URL you want to keep before sharing your sponsor profile link.

Plan tiers in plain language

Two plans ship today: Connect and Studio. Studio is the public plan most sponsors run on. Connect is the starter for solo sponsors getting their first speakers online.
