Sponsor Plans and Billing
Compare Sponsor Connect and Studio, sign up through Stripe Checkout, and manage your subscription from the billing portal.
Fanflet has two paid sponsor plans. This article explains what each includes, how to sign up and pay, and how to manage your subscription after that.

Pricing
For current pricing on each plan, open Billing in your sponsor dashboard. You pay by card through Stripe, and you can change or cancel your plan at any time from the billing portal.
How to sign up and pay
If no one has invited you yet, you can start directly at the sponsor signup page.
Create your account
Go to fanflet.com/sponsor/signup and create your account with your work email.
Confirm your email
Check your inbox and confirm your email address.
Fill out the onboarding form
Enter your company name, contact email, URL, industry, and logo.
Pick a plan
Open Billing from the sidebar and select the plan you want. Click Upgrade.
Complete checkout
Fanflet sends you to a Stripe Checkout session pre-filled with your email. Enter your card details on Stripe and confirm.
Land back in your portal
Stripe sends you back to your billing page with your new plan active. Stripe handles every step that touches payment. Fanflet never stores your card number.
The admin-invite path
A Fanflet admin may invite your company directly before you have signed up. This is called an admin-invited trial.
Receive the invite email
You receive an email with a claim link and a trial offer (for example, a free trial period followed by your plan’s standard rate).
Review the claim page
Click the link. You land on a public claim page that shows your company name, domain, and the trial terms.
Accept the offer
Click the button to accept the offer. The label reflects the offer type, for example Start Trial.
Complete Stripe Checkout
Fanflet sends you to Stripe Checkout. Enter your card. No charge today.
Set your password
When Stripe confirms the session, your account is provisioned automatically. You receive a separate email to set your password.
Enter the portal
After setting your password, you land in the sponsor portal as a verified, trialing sponsor.

Note on speaker upgrades
Managing your subscription
Once you are on a paid plan, open Billing in the sidebar to see your current plan and usage. Click Manage billing to open the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab.
From the portal you can:
- Update or replace the card on file
- Move between Sponsor Connect and Sponsor Studio
- Download invoices and receipts as PDF
- Cancel the subscription
Changes you make in the portal sync back through Stripe webhooks. Your dashboard reflects them on the next page load.
Promo and discount codes
If you received an admin-invite link with a promo code attached, the discount applies automatically at Stripe Checkout. You do not enter the code manually.
If you have a standalone promo code, it applies at the Stripe Checkout step when you upgrade. The checkout session reflects the discount before you confirm.
Cancel at period end vs immediate cancel
Stripe gives you two cancel paths inside the Customer Portal.
Cancel at period end
Keeps every paid feature through the end of the billing period you already paid for. On the renewal date the plan drops and limits apply.
Immediate cancel
Ends the subscription right away. Your account drops to a limited state within minutes.
Your data is preserved
Invoices and receipts
Stripe stores every invoice for the lifetime of your account.
Open the Customer Portal
From Billing, click Manage billing.
Scroll to Invoice history
Click Download next to any invoice to save a PDF receipt.
Update billing details if needed
Tax ID, billing address, and company name go in the portal’s Billing information section. Edit them before your next renewal.
What happens if your card fails
Stripe attempts the charge at renewal. If the card fails, Stripe enters a retry cycle and emails you with a link to update your payment method. Your account stays active during the retry window.
Open Manage billing from the billing tab and replace the card. Once the next attempt succeeds, your subscription returns to active.
If all retries fail, Stripe ends the subscription and your account moves to a paused state.
